Rock The Park Benefit is Coming Up

The concert will take place May 17 and May 18.

Mark your calendars for May 17-18 when Pasco's 3d annual Rock The Park Festival takes place.

This year's event benefits The Center for Independence, which provides services to the developmentally disable community and their families.

The festival brings together a wide variety of rock bands along with food trucks to create a festival atmosphere all weekend. The Rock The Park Festival takes place at Sims Park, 6341 Bank St. in New Port Richey.

The band lineup includes Crash The Satellites, Sunshine and Bullets, Fight Another Day, plus more.

The Center for Independence has been around for 50 years. The organization operates residential services for developmentally disabled adults, job training and transportation services.

Rock The Park is free for all ages. Dozens of food trucks will be on hand to feed the masses.
