Update: The tally is in and you’ve made your choice Land O’ Lakes! With 11 votes out of 40, Larry’s Deli is your favorite spot to grab lunch. Vallarta’s was a close second with 10 votes.

Today we kick off a weekly Patch contest that celebrates great local businesses. We are inviting readers to share their favorite places and services, from restaurants to entertainment. (See the poll below.)

Each week we will publish a different poll and ask readers to vote. We debut the poll today by asking readers to vote on the best lunch spots in Land O' Lakes. Here are some of our favorite places. If we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it.

The poll closes at 9 a.m. Friday, and we will announce the winner by noon Friday. The winner will get a big shoutout from Land O' Lakes Patch and an awesome "Best of" plaque to post on the wall of their business.
