Walk on the Wild Side Art Exhibition & Reception at the Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery

Visitors to the
Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery will “Walk on the Wild Side” during the
month of May. That is the theme for the Gallery’s month-long art exhibition,
making its debut on Friday, May 2, 2014 at an open house reception at the Gallery.
The reception, with music and refreshments, will be open to the public
from 6 to 9 p.m. The Gallery is located at 6231 Grand Blvd. in the historic downtown district of New Port Richey.

On display for the
month of May will be works from Gallery professional artists featuring
abstract, digital art, collage, expressionistic and surrealistic media.
Included in the exhibition are original paintings, mixed media, photography and
prints, as well as sculpture and 3-D art – all wild, innovative and creative.
This show is sure to appeal to those who appreciate the unusual.

In a separate exhibit
at the Gallery, the featured artist for the month is John Howie, local artist
who will exhibit his unique, abstract acrylic with ink paintings. Rounding out
the show will be an exhibit by students from the River Ridge High School of New
Port Richey.
