The change in venue from the usual Chapter meeting place has been made to better accommodate the featured entertainers for the meeting, the Friendship Singers. The Friendship Singers, directed by Delores Gast, are perennial favorites of AARP. They always provide an entertaining and enjoyable musical program of popular songs and many old favorites. Audience participation is encouraged in many of their numbers.
In addition to current members of the local AARP Chapter, attendance is open to all AARP members in the surrounding local community who may be interested in joining the local Chapter for the coming year. (There will be no charge for this meeting - annual dues are only $10 per person.) This will be a coffee and cake meeting – contributions are welcome. The Church is located just a short distance from the intersection of Leonard Road and U.S. 41 in Land O’Lakes.
