For the rest of November, veterans and active-duty military as well as seniors over 55 can adopt animals at half price. Everyone else can also take home a dog or cat at 50 percent off during the Adoption Center's Black Friday Sale, Nov. 20-30.
The Adoption Center is located at 19640 Dogpatch Lane in Land O' Lakes. Hours are Tues., Wed., Fri., and Sat. 12-4:30 p.m., and Thursday 12-6 p.m.
