Mother Nature Strikes the North East, But all of America Could Be Impacted

Mother Nature may be hitting the Northeast with Hurricane Sandy, but all of America could be affected by the storm if it impacts the election.

So, they call this one Sandy, huh? Well Sandy, we're glad you decided not to make a grand visit to Florida, however we'd appreciate it if you took a hike altogether. We've got an election to focus on this week.

That's right, reports this morning are stating that Hurricane Sandy could threaten the 2012 election. Early voting is already suspended in some counties and depending on the possibility for widespread power outages, who knows how long voters will be impacted.

The safety and security of Americans is the No. 1 priority of a president, however as Sandy makes her way onto the shores of New Jersey, both President Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney are both scrambling to keep themselves safe. Campaign stops have been modified and the candidates are both preparing for the worst: that Hurricane Sandy could change the face of the election.

Romney supporters are getting excited too, since almost every state in the North East impacted by this massive storm is currently leaning towards President Obama. A quick look at any electoral college map shows states north of Virginia trending blue (with the lone exception of New Hampshire as being up in the air).

To avoid getting too political, I'll just say that this kind of sucks. I want to see this presidential race play out unhindered. I am sick of the attacks, sick of the voter fraud and voter repression scandals, sick of hearing about how this Presidency hinges on a few undecided voters in Ohio... and now I'm annoyed that Hurricane Sandy could impact the election one way or another.

One thing's for sure. While Hurricane Sandy came rolling in, Romney sure made an impact in Land O' Lakes this past week. Pasco County showed their support in droves, parking up and down US 41 for miles and miles.

At EarlsTees on US41, we were busy on Saturday pumping out Custom T-Shirts for supporters of Govenor Romney. "Legit Mitt" and "NOBama '12" were the fan favorites.

As always, don't forget you can walk in to Custom T-Shirts by EarlsTees.com and pick up a Custom T-Shirt. We'll print just about anything. Just walk in with an idea, and we'll put it on a shirt!
