Rotten produce 7 days a week!!!
Never fresh!!! Old rotten produce at fresh organic prices!!!!!

Tomatoes are squishy, never firm. Perfect for homemade pasta sauce but not a sandwich. You can't even slice the tomato without it turning to mush.

AND THE OWNER.... Where should I start? He is absolutely psycho!!! Has severe mental issues. Check out his land o lakes farmers market Facebook page. He rants about police harassing and stalking him on a daily basis. The entire pasco sheriff office is out to get him!!! Read for yourself to see how delusional this man really is. He also uses his FB page to post arguments he had with his customers....wow! How professional!

One morning I was there and he went off on a lady about the price of strawberries. She said to her husband.. "Aren't you glad we stopped in Plant city. We got double the amount for half the price here"
The owner, Ken, overheard her and he yelled at her "I have been in this industry over 20 years...GET OUT OF HERE and don't come back. "

Every customer looked at each other in complete shock. She put her bags of apples down and said "no problem, I will never give such a rude man another penny of my money" and left.

So here is my most recent experience.
I Purchased 35 plums from Land o lakes Farmers market. I got home, washed them off and starting cutting them for a dessert... Only 7 were edible. All the others were rotten.
When I returned the SAME DAY with my rotten plums for an exchange, the owner refused!!! He said I could pick out some more plums to purchase. (from the same stack...duh, I already picked through those and chose the best which turned out to be rotten)

****ALSO, watch out for being over charged... This has happened more than once. I get home look at receipt and its $7 more than what I purchased.
This place WILL scam you!!!!!

Well after today... I'm following in Ms. Plant City Strawberries footsteps. I will NEVER be back to Land o Lakes Farmers market. She was right. Even though it is a local business... I choose not to support an arrogant scamming asshole.

Check out the.... Kale is yellow and wilted, tomatoes are mushy, lettuce has mold, peppers are rotten and slimy. Don't forget to Check out the discount table... You wouldn't feed it to your pigs it is soooo gross.

He acts like all his produce is "quality" when in reality it is 4 days old when he gets it off the discount truck!!!!

They can't even spell at this place.
Look at the produce signs for a good laugh. My favorite is Broccoli is spelled brocoli

Best advice... If you shop at this place, inspect everything before you buy, keep your mouth shut while shopping and double check your receipts.
