Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best local hot spots in the Land O' Lakes area?

Beginning July 23, we're opening up the vote for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories, from who has the best happy hour in town to which zoo is the best in the Tampa Bay area. Voting will end August 17.

Who do you think has the best Italian food in town? Cast your vote!

VILLA VERDE CAFE'.... best lasagna around along with tiramisu..both are out of this world..

Lonnie you are so right! I love ABC Pizza (for their AMAZING PIZZAS and GREEK SALADS W/HOUSE DRESSING and Villa Verde Cafe FOR THE BEST LASAGNE AND TIRAMISU. Both are super good.
