- Why Go: Kids ages 12 years and younger are invited for a morning of free entertainment including kid-friendly games, music, and much more. This week's program features a performance by the Gator Crusaders.

- Where/When: Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 28152 Paseo Dr., Wesley Chapel. Thursday at 11 a.m.
- Why Go: Kids will participate in a group reading, games and hands-on craft projects with Fancy Nancy. The program is open to children 2-to-4 years of age.

- Where/When: Pasco County Fair Grounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City. Daily from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Feb. 27.
- Why Go: Plan ahead for a trip to the fair in Dade City this weekend with your family. Games, rides, music and of course great food are on tap for the week long attraction. On Sunday, receive free admission for one child with the purchase of one adult admission. Each day at the fair also features unlimited midway ride deals, call 352-567-6678 for more information.
- Pricing: Adults: $8, Children (6-12): $5, Children under 5: Free.
- Where/When: World of Life Center, 13247 Word of Life Drive, Hudson. Saturday at 8 a.m.
- Why Go: With the help of the St. Petersburg Times, the World of Life Center opens its doors to the public for a day of family-friendly activities in support of a great cause. Enjoy everything from hay rides and basketball with the kids to scenic helicopter tours and paintball. All proceeds will help send local underprivileged children to summer camp.

KID-FRIENDLY FILMS AT COBB THEATRE
- Where/When: Cobb Theatre 16, 6333 Wesley Grove Blvd, Wesley Chapel. The theatre is open daily at noon.
- Why Go: Treat your kids to movies and popcorn this weekend at Cobb Theatre 16. Family- friendly G to PG rated movie titles include, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 3D," "Gnomeo and Juliet," "Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time," and "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son."
