Land O Lakes Fall Festival

Hello Neighbors, I wanted to post again about bringing the Land O' Lakes FlapJack Festival back to where it belongs. Following is the e mail that I just sent to them here at the Patch ;

Attention John Majaski

Hello John, I put a comment up back in the fall about bringing the Land O’ Lakes FlapJack Festival back to Land O’ Lakes. I got a few positive responses. I also spoke to Pat Mulieri about it and she agreed that it is a great idea. As you probably know, it was taken away a few years back and we were told that it was because there was no parking any more. It was moved to Dade City and after I think 2 years,  all of the vendors withdrew because it was too far to travel and besides, it really is a dumb idea that they pulled. I mean,come on man, the Land O’ Lakes Festival in Dade Ciity. As we now know it  is an event called the Gator Growl or something like that and they are in the same exact place where the LOL Festival used to be. Kind of like a Festival that had it’s identity stole. Try doing that on a person and one ends up in jail.  Any how, I am hoping for some help from you on this. Is there a way to put a petition up on the Patch and let our citizens sign it? Seems like a great idea that would really make the Patch useful. Doing something that our community really wants and getting it in front of whoever makes that decision to bring it back. Also I think that if you spoke to Mrs. Mulieri and asked her to get behind the idea with an interview, that would put the ball in motion. Thanks for your time and please let me know if there is anything that I can do. If we can put a petition up ,we could also have some written up and placed around town with the Patch’s Logo and support and that would also be a way to make more folks aware of the Patch. Thanks again…Mark Ballard
