Authorities: DUI Dad Had Child In Car During Wreck

Land O' Lakes resident got into a wreck while under the influence, authorities allege in a TBO.com article. A toddler was allegedly in the car at the time but was picked up by the mother before authorities arrived.

A Land O' Lakes man racked up charges after allegedly driving under the influence and having a toddler in the car during an auto wreck.
Scott Foster, 38, of Barnwell Street, was in a traffic accident on State Road 54 and Knight road Tuesday, according to TBO.com. Authorities arrested Foster after he failed a field sobriety test and was found to be in possession of pills without a subscription.
According to TBO.com, Foster's 4-year-old son was in the car at the time of the wreck but was picked up by his mother before authorities arrived.
Foster, who has since been released from Land O' Lakes jail, is facing the following charges: child neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance without a subscription, and DUI property damage/injury.
