The intersections of Mystic Oaks and Bruce B. Downs and Wrencrest and Bruce B. Downs are closed at this time, a sheriff’s office media release said.

“The gas leak is considered minor according to a sergeant at the scene and (Pasco County) Fire Rescue is waiting for TECO to arrive to shut off the gas,” sheriff’s office spokesman Doug Tobin wrote in the release.

Only one building is being evacuated at this time and Tobin added that “this is not stopping traffic on Bruce B. Downs.”
