Land O' Lakes Man Airlifted After U.S. 41 Crash

The accident took place just before noon March 15.

Gregory Dwayne Paulk, 32, of Land O’ Lakes is in serious condition at Bayonet Point Hospital following a late-morning crash on U.S. 41 March 15.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Paulk was heading north on U.S. 41 in the inside lane, just south of McCarthy Drive when he vehicle went off the road and onto the median. Paulk, a highway patrol media release said, over-corrected and traveled back onto the roadway.

When he did, his 1995 Ford Mustang crossed both lanes and went onto the west shoulder.

Paulk over-corrected again, the release said, and his vehicle overturned.

Paulk, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car, the release said. He was airlifted to Bayonet Point Hospital in serious condition.
