Sheriff: Man Attacked 13-Year-Old Girl
He was restrained by his parents and the girl's sister.
A Land O' Lakes man faces a child abuse charge after deputies say he attacked a 13-year-old girl.
According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, David Mathew Brinkley, 18, of 7911 Citrus Blossom Drive, attacked the child by "grabbing the back of her hair and pulling on her head."
Brinkley was restrained and pulled away by his parents and the girl's 16-year-old sister, the report stated.

When deputies arrived, Brinkely pushed them away and entered the house, slamming and locking the door behind him, according to the report.
Brinkley's mother allowed the deputies in the home, where Brinkley struggled while they attempted to detain him.

Brinkley was arrested Saturday, Oct. 6 and charged with child abuse and resisting an officer without violence. He was released Sunday on $5,150 bond.
