Mother Calls 911 on Young Son After Cellphone Theft

The Land O' Lakes mom apparently had enough of her son's thieving ways, according to an incident report.

A mother of a 12-year-old Land O’ Lakes boy apparently had enough of her son’s thieving ways.

The mother, who lives with the boy on Tollison Loop, called authorities after the son went into her locked bedroom and stole a $300 Motorola cellphone.

The youth has an “extensive history of burglaries and grand thefts” and is on probation for the next four years, the mother told authorities, adding she keeps her bedroom “under lock and key” because the youth “likes” to steal from her.
