Sheriff’s Office Plans Increased Patrols on Halloween

Motorists are urged to exercise caution during the evening hours.

As trick-or-treaters hit Pasco County’s streets in search of candy and snacks, sheriff’s office deputies plan to increase their presence to keep little ghosts and goblins safe.

Sheriff Chris Nocco announced the increased road patrols for Oct. 31 as part of a push to ensure safety.

“The Sheriff's Office plans to utilize the mounted unit and traffic units to increase overall safety on Halloween night,” a sheriff’s office media release said. “They will also be patrolling at numerous Halloween special events scheduled across the county.”
