And, the aptly-named FactCheck.org has published the following about last night's Paul Ryan speech:
TAMPA, Fla. — Paul Ryan’s acceptance speech at the Republican convention contained several false claims and misleading statements. Delegates cheered as the vice presidential nominee: Accused President Obama’s health care law of funneling money away from Medicare “at the expense of the elderly.” In fact, Medicare’s chief actuary says the law “substantially improves” the system’s finances, and Ryan himself has embraced the same savings. Accused Obama of doing “exactly nothing” about recommendations of a bipartisan deficit commission — which Ryan himself helped scuttle. Claimed the American people were “cut out” of stimulus spending. Actually, more than a quarter of all stimulus dollars went for tax relief for workers. Faulted Obama for failing to deliver a 2008 campaign promise to keep a Wisconsin plant open. It closed less than a month before Obama took office. Blamed Obama for the loss of a AAA credit rating for the U.S. Actually, Standard & Poor’s blamed the downgrade on the uncompromising stands of both Republicans and Democrats. And when he wasn’t attacking Obama, Ryan was puffing up the record of his running mate, Mitt Romney, on taxes and unemployment. For full details: http://factcheck.org/2012/08/ryans-vp-spin/

This article below shows what our President, Barack Obama has brought to America. Yet, liberals and the Democratic Party support this! We can only shake our heads in disgust.

factcheck, nationalreview and moonbattery are all sources that are slated to an agenda. Follow where they spend there money. If they are your only source without true documentation to back them up, you are trying to sell obinion over fact. Which is the case for both moonbattery and nationalreview. Thought factcheck is a little better, but in some cases give half-facts instead of the full story.

Isn't it ammusing that the GOP (greed over people) party has so many non 1%ers defending it and speading lies. Because of the draconian republican party, the unlikeable canidate, and Paul Ryan being a lier, Obama and the democrats will win the in november.
Republican Rebuttal: But, but, but, then we'd live in a horrible socialistic society, everyone would have healthcare, affordable education (tatersalad), cars 50+ mpg, the enviroment protected, children would not go to school hungry, brokers/ Bankers would have rules how they could steal money, women would be allowed to decide about their bodies and lives. OH how horrible it would be putting people before corporations. Its unthinkable that rich people might have to share some of the wealth this country has given them with less fortunate that they exploited (low wages, few benefits, layoffs, fraud -Mitt), to get to rich. Chant republicans chant: No no no we can't let anymore socialist ideas into our country, this "black-muslim-non american born" man is going to be the ruin of our great greedy nation. The individual right to be Selfishness (and the freedom to dictate to women what they can do with thier bodies) must be our mantra, let the less fortunate become the future slaves of corporations - we built that - money rules-yeah! LMAO do you actually hear yourselfs Rebublican party and the teabaggers? You are paving the way to your own ruin. LOL teabaggers, Bohner, how do they come up with this stuff-classic :) GO OBAMA!
Scottrey August 31, 2012 at 12:13 pm
isn't funny that dumborcrapts like bulldog play the pathetic occupy 'we are 99%' motta and give us useless, baseless facts.
Like the 50 mpg cafe laws that will mostly hurt auto buyers to the tune of nearly $8,000 per car. And also do very little in the means of lcean air. Or that thinking that obamacare is the saving grace of the healthcare industry when it will only force thousands of doctors to retire, less to graduate, and thus less doctors practicing resulting in lower level of care and longer waits. And the greatest piece of ignorance, that all corporations are evil and republican. When in reality they give just as much to the dems as the gop and yes they are people so they do fail us from time to time. obama had no problem taking Bain Capitol money. obama will not be the ruin of out great country (we did make it pass jimmy carter) but what he has done and may do if reelected will do more harm to the freedoms we enjoy. bulldog cannot see that through his brown kiss a-- glasses, too bad.

R Money's acceptance speech was the "speech of his life." It's just that R Money's life has been shallow and self-centered, a life of privilege and devoid of sacrifice. Like all Republicants, R Money wrings his hands over the deficit, but refuses to increase tax rates on the wealthiest Americans to address the failed policies of the Bush administration. Fat cat Republicants have been eating dessert for so long that they think they are entitled to pay less taxes to support the country that made their economic success possible. Time to tax the wealthy at higer rates. It is the right thing to do for America.

If we are talking harms to our Freedoms Scottrey, read the Patriot Act. That was a Republican sitting in President at the time of that. Both sides are giving ridiculous facts.
Where is your supporting documentation on the $8,000 for a 50 mpg auto engine. Something that has been possible for over 30 years, now will cost an extra $8,000. Check your facts. The first Hybrid engine was made at the turn of the century, before the beginning of the 20th century. You are saying just as much ignorance as the extreme left. So please, fact check before calling names.
Bulldog August 31, 2012 at 01:59 pm
Scottrey, didn't you mean "Romney care" it was his idea, it covers millions and saves billions :) Nationalized healthcare would be much better but there is too much profit in healthcare for congress to put people first.
50 MPG may cost $8000 per car, who cares ride a bike (then you wouldn't need to roll down a window to spit:) Higher mileage standards do reduce air pollution, so does reduced burning of all fossil fuels, it science. If you indeed care about the "future" we leave our children being able to breath is much more important than the deficit or the few dollars you'll save on your next pickup :) Agreed both parties are corrupt, and that all corporations are not truely evil but putting profit ahead of people is. As individuals we are personally responsible for our behavior, coporate behavior needs to be treated the same way. (Hey Mitt how come putting so many companies into bankrupsy has not hurt your personal fiances? Isn't filing bankrupsy an indicator of being a lousy businessman ? Or it is being a good businessman if you come out with your pockets full and just screw everyone else including lenders, pension funds and laid off workers? Both the Democrats and Republicans in congress are taking away our freedoms, in your ignorance you are fighting the wrong ememy and deny it or not you are the 99%, your just from "that" other side of the family tree :) I'm voting for Obama and if your head was not so firmly planted in your butt you would too :)
Bulldog August 31, 2012 at 02:33 pm
Scottrey I apologize, they do call me bulldog for a reason-Grrrrrr. Your
" dumbocrat" comment got me going, I am not a democrat, I am way to complicated be labled. I also did not mean to insult any of the millions of pickup truck owners or people who chew tobacco by making the referrence that you were one of them :) Nor did I mean to engage in a battle of wits with someone clearly unarmed :) Ever since I quit smoking I've just been a bit grumpy. Personally I'm just having fun poking the proverbial bear(s). I do not believe either candidate offers much hope for a better America. If I have become a troll I am sorry, my goal has been to bring my weird perspectives and humor to the topics. Sincerely, Bulldog

Barack Obama to the Nation: If I am not re-elected this Executive Order will "kick in" and everyone will do what is demanded by this federal government:

Viki, saw it the director did an amazing job. The documentary was so enlightening OH MY fellow Americans.. I am really concerned. what a con job on the american people
Michael D. August 31, 2012 at 07:29 pm
2016 is just as much a propaganda piece as Freinheit 9/11. Both give half truths and fill in the blanks with opinions. Based on a book by noted Conservative Scholar Dinesh D'Souza who bases his opinions on some facts and other "truths". Much like Michael Moore's movie on Bush, it is just a propaganda piece that trades facts for opinions. Even when evidence has proven otherwise, he consistents that it is opinion in interviews.
Lynda August 31, 2012 at 07:46 pm
Yes, the movie is a stupendous con job on the American people. People should see it so they understand how easy it is to manipulate people into believing half truths and outright lies.
Goin' Commando September 2, 2012 at 07:56 pm
Just more robo-trash like Michael Moore produces, only this time it is a radical right wing sicko, rather than a radical left wing sicko, producing the trash.
The radical right wing loonies are desperate to believe anything bad about Obama, and they even make fun of objective myth(lie) busting sites like PolitiFact.com or Fact.Check.org. They do that because they are afraid of the truth, and can only accept the lies of the Fox Propaganda Network as their version of "truth."
