Get Rid of Your Christmas Tree the Green Way
Pasco County offers a recycling program that keeps used trees out of landfills.
Tired of having your halls decked?
Pasco County might have a solution that can help. No, county workers won’t un-deck your halls or take down your lights, but they will make sure your live Christmas tree gets put to good use.
The Parks and Recreation Department is once again offering a Christmas tree recycling program. Recycled trees are chipped so they can be used for landscaping purposes.

There’s no cost for residents to take part in the recycling program, which runs Dec. 26 through Jan. 8 at select locations throughout the county. Last year, 1,203 live trees were recycled.
