Pasco County Government Offices Will Close for the Holidays

Only emergency services agencies will be open over the long Christmas weekend.

Pasco County government employees got an early Christmas present Dec. 20 when the commission voted to close down for an extra day off in honor of the holidays.

That extra day means that Land O' Lakes residents hoping to get a little business done with the county on Friday or Monday just might be out of luck. The county now intends to close most of its offices and suspend many services throughout the long holiday weekend – starting Friday, Dec. 23 and running through Monday, Dec. 26.

Most agencies will open for business as usual on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
