Republican Club to Host Superintendent Candidates

The public is invited to hear from Kurt Browning and Kenneth Benson at the May 23 meeting.

Interested in hearing from the Pasco Schools Superintendent candidates?

The Republican Club of Central Pasco will feature two Republican candidates, Kurt Browning and Kenneth Benson, at its meeting on Wednesday, May 23.  

Browning served as the previous Pasco County Supervisor of Elections and also recently served as Secretary of State, a press release stated.  Benson runs a lawn service company and served in the Army and the National Guard, according to the release.

 Superintendent Heather Fiorentino will not be able to attend the meeting because of a scheduled meeting with the U.S. Department of Education on Labor Relations, the release stated.

The club meets at Copperstone Executive Suites, 3632 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. There will be a networking meeting with light refreshments at 6 p.m.   The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.  The public is welcome. For more information, call Connie Queller at 813-326-8802.
