If your game plan for happy motoring calls for avoiding areas where construction is going on, we’re here to help. Each week, we publish a listing of upcoming lane closures you may want to steer clear of.

Should you be out and about in the Land O’ Lakes area and beyond in the coming days, you might run into these construction-related lane closures and alignment changes announced by the Florida Department of Transportation:

Interstate 275 between U.S. 41 (North of Bearss) and Interstate 75

Expect nightly lane closings here on the north part of I-275 between U.S. 41 and I-75 Sunday through Thursday nights, June 5-9. Southbound lane closings are anticipated between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The northbound lane closes between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Interstate 75/Interstate 275 Exit Ramps To State Road 56

The right lane of northbound I-275 from about a mile south of I-75 to just north of the interchange will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. June 3 and again June 5-10.

There will also be a change in traffic patterns here by the end of the week.

The right hand, northbound travel lane of I-75 will also close from just south of I-275 to south of State Road 56 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday, June 5-10.

Northbound Interstate 75 Widening In Pasco     

Motorists traveling on Interstate 75 between State Road 56 and State Road 54 will encounter lane closings Sunday through Thursday, June 5-7. The right lanes on both northbound and southbound I-75 will close between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. in this area.

Drivers should also be mindful of anticipated traffic shifts to the right.
