After a rainout in December, the Fire And Wood Winter SK8BOARDING Competition is back on. The event begins with a 9 a.m. registration for skaters. The competition starts at 11 a.m.Sponsored by the Pasco County Professional Firefighters Local 4420, the Ian Tilmann Foundation and the Land O' Lakes Skate Park, the competition has four different age categories, starting under age 8 and going up beyond 16. The cost to enter is $5 per skater. The Top 5 skaters in each division will receive a trophy. The exception is the 8 and under category where all youngsters will receive a prize.Skaters can also register for a free helmet.For more information, visit fireandwood.com.
