A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Vitale family of New Port Richey.  Lori Vitale, a longtime PPAL volunteer, lost her battle with cancer in January. “We’re excited to host this camp to reach our youth and build bridges in our community with law enforcement. I’m very thankful for the sponsorship with Dick’s Sporting goods and all the volunteers that will make this camp a success. We have a unique opportunity to help a family that has helped our program for years and we look forward to supporting them in their time of need as they have supported us,” Sheriff Chris Nocco said in a press release.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can preregister on the PPAL website for $8 per participant.

Onsite registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at the recreation center. Day-of registration cost is $10 per participant.  Parents/spectators are admitted free.
