“A poker run is fun,” said Greg Reaster, BIKERSCAP founder. “This one is 80-plus miles.”

Proceeds raised during the run will benefit Reaster’s organization. Land O’ Lakes-based BIKERSCAP refurbishes computers for school children throughout the Tampa Bay area who don’t have computers of their own.

So, why a poker run?

Aside from the fact BIKERSCAP is a biker-run charity, “(There’s) nothing like getting on your Harley on a (beautiful) day and riding with another hundred scoots – the ground shakes,” Reaster said.

The ride also includes 50-50 drawings, an auction and live music by T-Blue.

For more information about the ride or to sign up, visit BIKERSCAP online. Riders also can show up at the Neon Cowboy Sunday morning to take part. The cost is $10 a hand or three for $25. VIP participation is $25 a hand or three for $40. VIP participants also get to enjoy a barbecue and beer at the last stop.
