Women's Group Seeks Teen Members
Teens can earn service credits by volunteering with this group.
The GFWC Little Women of Lutz are seeking members to join in their community volunteer efforts.
The group is a part of the international federation of women's clubs and is sponsored and mentored by the GFWC Lutz-Land O' Lakes Woman's Club. Little Women of Lutz is geared to young women between 12 and 18 years of age.
The Little Women meet once a month and some of their activities include:
- Preparing dinner at Ronald McDonald House.
- Maintenance of an adopted roadway.
- Work at a local Veteran's nursing home.
- Preparing packages for our troops overseas and assisting the Woman’s Club in numerous projects.
Teens seeking service hours for graduation and scholarship can be obtained through these various projects.
