Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best of Land O' Lakes? Beginning July 23, we're opening up the vote for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories, from who has the best happy hour in town to which zoo is the best in the Tampa Bay area. Voting will end August 17. Which farmers market is your favorite? Vote!

Summer is here, and everybody's looking for something new to do. What better time to revisit the best local hot spots in the Land O' Lakes area? Until July 8, we're collecting nominations for Readers' Choice 2012 in 25 categories: Which local places would you recommend to your neighbors? Nominate your favorites in the comments below or on the articles linked above. We'll collect all the nominations, and we'll put them to a vote starting July 23. We've attached the official rules to this story, too. In the meantime, stay looped in with what's going on in town by subscribing to Patch's free daily email newsletter. We’re down to eight finalists in our Best Customer Service poll. Vote for your favorites to help us crown a winner!
And then there were eight. Eight businesses, that is! This elite group has made it through the first three rounds of voting in (Town Name) Patch’s Best Customer Service contest and they deserve a pat on the back for sure. Or, better yet, your vote to help them earn a finalist spot in Round 5 of the competition. These cream-of-the-crop establishments know how to treat their customers right, but they do need your support to earn a victory. So check out the Round 4 pairings below and vote for your favorites. Patch's Best Customer Service contest moves forward with the 16 sweetest local businesses who treat their customers right. Our final 16 businesses have been chosen by our readers as having the best customer service in Land O’ Lakes. But there can only be one true champ! So check out the Round 3 pairings below and vote for your favorites. Note, the rules of the game have changed a bit this round. Great customer service can be hard to find, but sometimes it makes all the difference. That's why we think it's worthwhile to recognize those local businesses that go the extra mile to treat their customers right. With March upon us, it's only fitting that we've taken the top 64 businesses who have joined Land O’ Lakes Patch and pitted them against one another, tournament style, to crown a champion of customer service. Update: The votes are in and it was a close call on Land O' Lakes' favorite place to spend St. Patrick's Day. While the Original Beef 'O' Brady's and Ukulele Brands tied in the voting, Beef's edged out the competition with one rating, one review and one Facebook recommend on its directory listing. Congratulations to the Original Beef 'O' Brady's! *** St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and lots of people like to get out and celebrate the occasion. Update: Land O’ Lakes Patch readers have spoken: The community center park is the hands-down favorite with 25 out of 39 votes in this week’s poll. The Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex came in second with 10 votes cast on its behalf. *** Florida is blessed with lots of bright sunny days that can make it feel sinful to stay indoors.
