Chili Cook-off Brings the Heat to A/C Company
Proceeds from the Feb. 18 event will help bring air conditioning to a needy family.
It seems almost everyone has a chili recipe they call their own, but how would it stack up against other local dishes? There's a chance to find out Saturday, Feb. 18 when Ierna's Heating & Cooling hosts its first ever chili cook-off. While the event itself is free for the community, those brave chili chefs confident they can win pay an entry fee of $20— but could win as much as $500. "I do a lot of networking, but now I feel like networking is taking me a lot longer than it used to," said Loran Tripp, director of public relations and marketing for Ierna.
