Teen Chefs Face Off In Cooking Challenge

Only one team came out victorious.

Four teams faced off in a battle of wills and culinary skills, but only one came out victorious in the Land O' Lakes Branch Library's Teen Chef Challenge Cook-Off. Staged Dec. 21, the event was just one of many the library plays host to on behalf of teens in the community. Ideas for most of the events, including the cook-off, are generated from the teens themselves, said Alicia Diaz, youth services librarian. "They wanted to have a multi-team chef challenge," explained Paul Stonebridge, youth services librarian. "They get to have their voice at the library," Diaz added.
