When you put fire and wood together it makes you want to find the marshmallows. In this case "Fire and Wood" mean two different things, skateboards and firefighting. Fire and Wood is the winter skateboarding competition that was scheduled for Dec. 18 at Land 'O Lakes Skate Park, however, Mother Nature had other plans. After reviewing weather reports, David Miller, a firefighter with Pasco County Fire and Rescue and a skateboarder himself canceled the event due to rain. Miller say's "we have a rain date of Jan. 29, that's the soonest we could do it, same time and location."
