Food Trucks Dish Up Sunday Supper

The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven will host a food truck rally for the second month in a row this weekend.

Food truck fans have a new date to put on their calendars thanks to The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven in Lutz. The second Sunday of the month is now officially Food Truck Rally day. Last month’s rally was a first-time venture that went over so well, the restaurant has decided to bring it back on a regular basis. This month’s rally takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at the 16319 N. Florida Ave. eatery. It features not only a variety of flavors courtesy of food trucks, but also the restaurant’s own cuisine. Food Truck Rally to Deliver Fresh Flavor, Fun

The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven is playing host to its first-ever rally Sunday, Oct. 14. There's still time for vendors to get involved.

Tired of having to drive out of town to enjoy all the flavors a food truck rally delivers? This coming Sunday, you can hit nearby Lutz and sample a variety of flavors. The Gathering Place Wood Fired Oven, 16319 N. Florida Ave., is playing host to its first-ever food truck rally Oct. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. The indoor/outdoor event will feature live music, craft vendors, games, chance drawings and, of course, food—lots of it. Christopher Fuller, the restaurant’s managing partner, said visitors can expect to see between three and five food trucks on site. The restaurant, which opened in late March, will also offer food and drink specials inside. “It’s going to be a great time,” he said. Fuller said the idea for the rally came from his …
