Update 3:36 p.m. March 22: The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is reporting the leak has been stopped and those evacuated are now able to return to their homes. Earlier: The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a natural gas leak in Land O’ Lakes and says some homes have been evacuated. The leak is at 8633 Eagle Brook Drive in the Lakeshore Ranch subdivision, which is north of Land O’ Lakes High School on U.S. 41. A natural gas leak in a building on Bruce B. Downs and Mystic Oaks boulevards has forced an evacuation this morning.
Update Jan. 29, 10:24 a.m.: An all-clear has been given on the gas leak. The roads have reopened and people are now allowed back inside the building that was evacuated, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. TECO is still on the scene, however, making repairs. Earlier: A natural gas leak has prompted an evacuation along Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Wesley Chapel and has also led to some roads in the area being closed.
