What does a heating and cooling company do to help the homeless when cold winter weather is just around the corner? When the heating and cooling company happens to be Ierna’s, the answer is sponsor a jacket, coat and blanket drive to help keep those in need warm when the temperatures drop. The Lutz-based company has teamed up with Metropolitan Ministries to collect colder-weather gear for the area’s homeless. Now through Dec. 20, Land O' Lakes residents can help in the drive by dropping off new or gently used items at Ierna’s, 19121 N. U.S. Highway 41, during regular business hours.
