The first Teen Advisory Board meeting is set for Aug. 9.

TAB members have a big say in what happens at the library throughout the year, he added. “(Members) actually have a voice,” he said. “The TAB helps us plan all the events at the library.” The library has relied on its…

Did we catch you on camera during the two-day convention?
Teens from all over Pasco County converged on the Land O' Lakes Library July 16-17 for the third annual Library Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Convention. LAMEcon celebrated Asian culture, art, food and more. Featuring costume contests, panel discussions, vendors and more, the festival is designed to give teens a free, local alternative to other similar events in Tampa and elsewhere. Click through the gallery to see images from the event. If you were there, add your own photos to the gallery.

The third annual convention includes two days of festivities.
Move over Metrocon, LAMEcon is coming to Land O’ Lakes this weekend. Short for the Library Anime and Manga Enthusiasts Convention, LAMEcon is a two-day event that features costume contests, panel discussions, vendors and artists.
