Victims of Early Morning Crash Identified
The Florida Highway Patrol released the names of two men killed in a Land O' Lakes traffic accident Monday morning.
The drivers killed in an early morning traffic accident in Land O' Lakes have been identified. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michael Cartee Boles, 36, of Spring Hill was driving a 1991 Chevy S-10 northbound on Land O' Lakes Boulevard near Sunterra Drive at about 7:35 a.m. on Dec. 3 when his vehicle traveled into the southbound lane for an "unknown reason," into the path of a 1994 Ford F-150. Jeffrey Makc Osborne, 43, of Spring Hill avoided colliding with Boles by turning onto the west shoulder of the highway. But Boles's vehicle continued northbound in the southbound lane, colliding head-on with a 2007 Mitsubishi Gallant driven by Joseph Norris Whaley, 21 of Spring Hill.
