Reader's Spotlight: Time for Some Spring Cleaning
The Lutz-Land O' Lakes Woman's Club is collecting items for its annual flea market.
Now's the perfect time to clean out drawers and closets, attics and garages. The Lutz-Land O' Lakes Woman's Club is collecting items for its big flea market March 1-2 at the Old Lutz School. "We hope to fill the old school to the brim as well as the school yard," said Patricia Serio who posted this event on Land O' Lakes Patch. Woman’s Clubs Set to Mark 9/11 Anniversary
Two groups have events planned in the Land O’ Lakes and Lutz areas.
The 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will not pass without local observances to mark the occasion. Both the GFWC Lutz-Pasco Junior Woman’s Club and the GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club have events planned. Lutz-Pasco Women Plan to Get Active The junior woman’s club plans to kick off a brand new community service project this Sunday, Sept. 11. The group of 20 or so women ages 18 and older is planning to take over care of the Lutz Veteran’s Service Memorial Park, 98 First Ave. S.W. The memorial commemorates lives lost in service to America from the different military branches.
