Could a 31-year-old have had too much to drink? Deborah Marie Gavish, 31, of Spring Hill was arrested April 21 and charged with simply battery and criminal mischief, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred at 16540 Pointe Village Drive in Land O’ Lakes. Authorities say Gavish started yelling that someone stole her girlfriend and then spit on two people, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Gavish allegedly also smashed several of the businesses glasses. Gavish was taken to Land O’ Lakes Jail April 21 and released later that day.

Landscaping crews and others in Land O’ Lakes and Wesley Chapel may want to keep a closer eye on their landscaping equipment. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office posted this crime alert on its Facebook page Thursday, April 25: During March and April, there were multiple grand thefts and burglaries involving stolen landscaping equipment, particularly in the area of SR 54 and Wesley Chapel Blvd in Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel. Most of the equipment has been commercial grade and has been removed from truck trailers or sheds. Subject/s stole equipment from trailers while it was left unattended by landscaping crews on weekdays between 9am and 1pm. Teen busted for possession of methamphetamine, the sheriff's office says.
A 16-year-old Wesley Chapel High School student was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. The incident occurred Friday afternoon, April 12, after school officials received information that prompted a search of the student’s backpack. Five capsules of a white crystalline substance were found in the front pocket, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. The student, whose name Patch is not releasing, was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center without incident.
