Pasco Schools, Government Offices Closed Monday
The decision came following a 3:30 p.m. briefing on Tropical Storm Isaac.
Pasco County school children and government workers won’t have to report tomorrow morning. The county announced a few moments ago that all government offices and public schools will be closed Monday, Aug. 27, due to Tropical Storm Isaac. “The decision is due to the uncertain weather conditions that Tropical Storm Isaac poses early Monday and throughout the day,” a county media release said. “The closure of Pasco County Government means PCPT Transit Buses will not be in operation, County Parks are closed and County Libraries are traditionally closed on Mondays.” New Port Richey's non-emergency city government offices will also be closed.
