It's the middle of spring break. Ready to try something a little different? How about finding hidden treasures in everyday places? If you have a GPS or GPS-enabled cellphone and an adventurous soul, you can set out for a day of geocaching right here in Land O’ Lakes. “Geocaching is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices and then share their experiences online,” according to Geocaching.com. On the Florida page of the site, you can choose from a list of cities to see the caches hidden in the area. Beginner caches are highlighted in green as recommendations for new geocachers.
