Should the Day After Super Bowl Be a National Holiday?

A petition posted Jan. 24 asking for the day off has more than 12,000 signatures so far.

Bragging rights. Chicken wings. Plenty of beer. The Super Bowl is more than just the ultimate football game. It's a holiday in itself, no matter which team (or commercials) you're rooting for. Rivaled only by Thanksgiving, Super Bowl Sunday is the second largest food fest in the nation with Americans gobbling up more than 30 million pounds of snacks.
