2 Accidents Tying Up Land O’ Lakes’ Roads

The crashes are causing traffic delays along State Road 52 and Land O’ Lakes Boulevard.

The Monday morning commute might take a little longer today due to two accidents that are causing traffic delays in Land O’ Lakes. While few details are available about either crash, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is saying that accidents are causing problems along both State Road 52 and Land O’ Lakes Boulevard. Man Dies in I-75 Crash

Christian Nicholas Reimer was headed north on Interstate 75 in Pasco County when his car left the roadway, crashed into a tree and overturned, authorities said.

A 21-year-old Largo man was killed when his car hit a tree and overturned on the side of a Pasco County roadway early Thursday morning, authorities said. Christian Nicholas Reimer was headed north on Interstate 75, just south of State Road 52, at about 12:50 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Reimer's Pontiac Grand Am traveled into the center grass lane "for unknown reasons," investigators said, at which point he over-corrected to the right. His car traveled back across the northbound lanes and onto the outside grass shoulder, where it crashed into a tree and overturned. Reimer suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, the highway patrol reports. The incident remains under investigation.
