Club Mom Hosts Open House
The free event will be held at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
Club Mom of Lutz/Land O' Lakes will host an open house Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex. The event will feature refreshments, a craft and games for the kids, organizer Megan Hendricks said. The group was founded in 2009 for stay-at-moms with young children to form a network of friends for support and to have fun together, longtime member Colleen Vinson said in a previous Patch interview. "It's a great way to meet friends, get together and talk while the kids play," Hendricks said. The group hosts a weekly playgroup, in addition to planning a variety of activities and outings, Hendricks said. The group stays organized by posting events on its Meetup.com site.
