About Marc
I retired after 20 years as the Director of the Pasco County Health Department. Prior to that position, I practiced General Medicine in N. Miami Beach, and Miramar, FLorida.
I have served on multiple county and state boards relating to health and human services, often in the capacity as President or a member of the executive board. Boards included but are not limited to The Good Samaritan Clinic, Florida Public Health Association, PACE School for Girls, The Pasco County Medical Society, and CARES Inc.
My interests are universal health coverage, equitable affordable access to health care, and reducing the waste and fragmentation in our current model of health care delivery.
I currently volunteer at the CARES Free Senior clinic, and review patient assessments for the Department of Elder Affairs. I continue to write published editorials relating to health issues and have published two books of my short stories. I reside with my wife in Hudson, Florida.

Dr. Yacht,
I would welcome your opinion on my latest blog post. This week I discuss the impact of national conventions on state government.
Thanks!

Dr. Yacht,
I have posted my memories of Charlie Skelton on my New Port Richey Patch blog "To Tallahassee and Back:"

Knowing how much you liked Charlie I thought you might want to read my comments.
Take care,
