Suzanne Schmidt-Jackson graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville six years ago. Since then she has been working as a community news journalist covering hyper-local news at newspapers like In The Loop, The Laker and The Pasco Tribune. She enjoys writing stories and taking photos at local schools, businesses, events and more. She lives in Land O' Lakes with her husband and her dog.
