Beefs Back in Business After Renovation

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Land O’ Lakes is back in business after being closed six months for renovations. The question is not what’s new with the building, but, rather, what’s not new.

“We gutted the place,” said manager Pete Dawson. “It was completely out of date.

Beefs, 21539 Villages Lakes Shopping Center, has been a part of the community since opening 19 years ago, Dawson said. But a modern look has been in order for awhile.

Now, Dawson said, there are sleek flatscreen TVs — including one 70 inches wide — and a more palatable layout. The gameroom for kids is now in a separate room.

“It’s more modern,” Dawson said of the renovation, which cost “hundreds of thousands.” “It’s more open. It looks 10 times bigger.”

The eatery can seat about 165 people, not including the bar. Dawson said the eatery wants to spread the word they are once again open for business. 

“It’s like a whole new restaurant,” he said.
