It's Almost Time For the Caliente Clothes Closet

So why would a Nudist resort be selling clothes?

On April 2, Caliente will host its fifth annual Clothes Closet sale to benefit Sunrise of Pasco County. The domestic violence and sexual assault center is located in Dade City and serves residents from Land O' Lakes.

Proceeds from the sale will directly benefit the nonprofit center. The sale will feature a wide selection of clothing.

There will also be drop boxes available for donations of gently used or new clothing for women and children served by the shelter. The donations help these women and their families get their lives started again. Work clothes are needed also so they can get back into the workplace.

The sale will be held at the Resident's Clubhouse at Caliente Resort (on Caliente Boulevard, just off Land O' Lakes Boulevard. This is just a few clicks north of the Ehren Cutoff).

Just tell the guard at the gate you're there for the sale between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 2.

If you're bringing a donation, be sure to call Pam Oakes, Caliente's personal trainer, and the driving force behind the whole thing, to let her know what you're bringing. She'll let you know how to make a donation. Your cash is also welcome of course, even your $2 bills!

Pam's number is 517-887-7032. Time is running out quickly, so call right away! Thanks for being part of it all Pam, and thanks to all who help out with their time and donations!
