Land O' Lakes Woman Arrested for Sex with Teen
The incident was discovered after someone saw suspicious text messages from the woman.
A Land O' Lakes woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies say she had sex with a teenager in her car.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Alexis Anne Colson, 37, arranged to meet the 16-year-old boy at a specific location on Jan. 22, then transported him to another location, where they engaged in intercourse in her vehicle.
The teen "outcried" to a person whose identity is not being released by the sherriff's office after the person discovered suspicious text messages on a phone lent to the teen, according to the arrest report.
The teen also provided a pair of black lace underwear, which he said were given to him by Colson.
Colson of 10709 Weeping Elm Bend is charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor and with sending harmful electronic transmissions to a minor. She was released from the Land O' Lakes jail Wednesday, Jan. 30, on $15,000 bond.

There is two sides to every story. Don't be the judge and jury, yet.

LOL Danielle, you obviously have a liberal streak in you. I'm betting they have substantial evidence in the text messages themselves. A LOT of evidence. Dumbass.

Any 37 year old should know better than to have sex with a 16 year old. If it was a man, he's still be in jail and so should she.

Yes, there are 2 sides. However there is no defense for statutory rape! Give the maximum 15 yr prison term.

So quick to judge. Do I feel she is right no do I feel there are two sides yes. Is it my right to say that this mother of three should rot in jail no. Is it yours no. It's the courts the public officials you elected. Whatever the punishment you will forget her in a few days her family lives with this forever so get over yourselves and remember those kids hurting

So quick to judge? Are you serious? Being arrested for having sex with a underage child is serious and should be treated as such and YES she deserves to sit in jail and rot. She was the adult and should have thought about what HER actions would do to HER family and the family of the 16 yr old. This mother of 2 does not feel sorry for this woman. She got caught and there are consequences like prison time. Yep, you bet I will forget her once she is sentenced and put away. Her children are and will suffer because of her actions, the 16 yr old and his family are and will suffer because of her actions and those are the ones I have compassion for, but not this woman. She should have put her family before her lust.

This is a grown woman of 36, she should have thought of her family and children before acting like a fool. We learn as children there are consequences to actions, guess she missed that lesson. My sympathies to her children for having a Mom like her and to the victim.

this woman clearly has some issues if she's out for a romp w/ a 16 year old but in the grand scheme of things i think a sixteen year old boy is more than capable of deciding whether or not a roll in the hay with a milf is something he wants to engage in. and why wouldn't he???
leave this woman alone. 15 years in prison?? for some lovin'??
just sayin, 16 is old enough. and shame on him for putting this out there and making her life hell.

Is the term: "outcried" some sort of urban slang? This is the first time I have ever seen that word in print. Is this word being used instead of boast now? Just a middle aged guy wondering here.
