Snowbirds? How About 'Eurobirds?'

What Pandabare has cooking now.

We have talked in the past about how Pandabare, our local Nudist "Chamber of Commerce" uses Las Vegas-style promotion strategies as a model for what it wants to do.

A large percentage of Vegas visitors come from other countries, especially Japan, China and other Asian markets. So, naturally, the Las Vegas Visitors Bureau spends a lot of time and effort marketing to those countries. They have accommodations catering to them. It all converts into tourist dollars and jobs in the long run, especially in the leaner times of the year when the convention business is off.

Pasco County (and Florida) wants to do the same thing. Business is great right now during the "High Season" at area resorts, but as we all know, in April things get back to  being quiet again except for holiday weekends like Memorial Day and July 4.

Most European countries, such as Germany, (where the Nudist lifestyle started officially) take extended vacations up to 6 weeks usually in that July- August period before school starts back.

Pandabare members (and hopefully the area resorts and Pasco County) see the potential here for making business better for everyone year round. This means profits and tax revenues, and eventually  jobs.

Grassroots efforts are in the works now to specifically market Pasco County as a Nudist destination  to those Eurobirds who want a relaxing experience with lots of things to do if they choose to, using one of our resorts as a base. From there they will have all that Florida has to offer!

So there may be Eurobirds in our future ...
