The Importance of Updating Voter Information

If you have not received a new voter information card, you could be one of the over 8,000 cards that were returned to the Pasco Supervisor of Elections as undeliverable.

Over 300,000 new voter information cards were mailed as a result of redistricting. By now, you should have received your new card which contains any changes in your precinct, polling location, or congressional and legislative districts.

If you have not received a new voter information card, you could be one of the over 8,000 cards that were returned to us as undeliverable. If this is you, your address of record with the Supervisor of Elections' Office is not up-to-date. Address updates can be made on-line at pascovotes.com, by telephone at 800-851-8754, or by written letter containing your date of birth and signature mailed to PO Box 300, Dade City FL 33526. New voter information cards are routinely issued with each address update and will be mailed to any voter reporting an address change. Although voter information cards are not necessary to vote, and they serve only as an informational source and confirmation of your voter registration, please know that there have been some changes in polling place locations. Redistricting maps and a complete list of polling locations is available on-line at pascovotes.com, or you can contact my office should you need assistance or more information.

Remember, there are three ways to vote: on election day, early voting, or vote-by-mail ballot. Early Voting will be available August 4th - August 11th at six locations countywide, and vote-by-mail ballots are available now upon request. Early Voting locations, hours and wait times are posted on pascovotes.com as well as information on how to request a vote-by-mail ballot.

If voting on election day, you must vote in the precinct in which you reside. Although address changes may be made at the polls, preparing in advance will go far in ensuring an efficient, smooth voting experience. When voting early or at the polls, you will be required to show a photo and signature ID. A FL driver license is the perfect identification, but there are other acceptable forms. You can find a complete list at pascovotes.com

One more reminder, sample ballots will be mailed to all voters on July 20th and are also available on pascovotes.com. Sample ballots are mailed to the voter registration address of record and will not be forwarded, making an updated address even more important.
