Find the Love of Your Life at Adoption Event Saturday
The fees for all animals adopted from the Pasco Animal Shelter will be paid for by Dobies Funeral Home, in memory of a beloved therapy dog.
The best things in life are free, and Pasco County Animal Services recently announced that all adoptions will cost families nothing through the end of February.
The adoption fees will be paid for by Tom Dobies of Dobies Funeral Home and Crematory, in memory of Dobies' beloved therapy dog Lucy, according to a press release.
To help connect more people with the four-legged loves of their lives, animal services will host an adoption event Saturday, Feb. 16, at Woof Gang Bakery, 18875 State Road 54 in Lutz.

The store, which features premium dog and cat treats, pet accessories and grooming services, will give adopters free treat bags from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the event.
The Pasco County Animal Shelter, 10940 Dogpatch Lane in Land O' Lakes, also will be open from noon until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.

The shelter's normal hours for adoptions are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from noon until 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays from noon until 6:30 p.m.
