Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano Announces the Retirement of Tax Manager Diane Smith

Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announces the retirement of 30-year employee Tax Manager Diane Smith.  Diane was based in the East Pasco Government Center branch of the Tax Collector’s Office.  She served the residents of Pasco County for 30 years.  Her retirement on February 28, 2014 ended a distinguished career overseeing the day-to-day tax operations.

“Diane played a key role in the operation of this office,” Mike Fasano comments.  “For three decades she was an integral part of the growth and expansion of tax collection in Pasco County.  Her leadership, expertise and understanding of the complexities of tax issues were vital to our success.  Her retirement is well deserved.  She will definitely be missed.”

During a farewell ceremony on February 28th, Diane was presented with a plaque commemorating her career with the tax collector. The plaque states: “In appreciation and recognition of your courteous, professional, and dedicated service to the Citizens of Pasco County between 1982 – 2014.”
